So I have this promo thing that gives me $500 on a >=$1000 purchase at Futureshop. I'm not planning on blowing the entire grand on a monitor as my mom would also like to get a freezer *shrugs*. I'm currently looking at these 19" LCDs:

I was wondering if any of you have any experience with any of these monitors and which would save me stress in the long run. I'm snoopin' around for reviews myself but would like a more subjective view from long-term users.

You couldn't give me one of those NEC LCD1935NXM monitors. I have the 17" version and the fucking thing is atrocious.
 
No, just not that particular monitor. I've got a 1765 and I love it dearly, and the 18" NEC monitors we have around the office all seem quite good. Just... the design on the 1x35NXM monitors could stand to be much better. My biggest problem thus far has been the insufficient shielding of the touch buttons, leading to my killing one monitor with a static shock and leaving my current version crippled.
