19" LCD with 3ms response time

releasing ? hasnt it been out for a WHILE? anyways i think the major downside of this panel is that it sacrifices color quality and accuracy for the faster response time
 
They had the 17" model, not sure about the 19". Rated at 4ms originally but they changed their minds and decided it was closer to 3ms and so changed advertising half-way through.

Tom's Hardware reviewed it and said it wasn't too good.

It's been out a few months already, which is no doubt why the reviewer commented that contrary to some announced models, this one could actually be found in the stores. :p

Why would you hold back on getting an LCD becuase of ghosting? I'm pretty sure ghosting has been eliminated with any good LCD.

If only that were true.. Some people notice ghosting more than others. I'm one of them... With the 17inch models and many if not most of the newer 19inch models ghosting has become a near non-issue for me,(when it comes to the name brands anyhow)... But the ones above 19" are hit and miss.. I really have to see a monitor b4 I buy.. It's about the only thing I go to BB, Office Depot, and Staples with the intent of buying anymore.. Buy everything else computer related online.. OP do yourself a favour and check out the monitors on display in a store.. You may find that ghosting is not as big an issue as many make it out to be.. I run dx diag on the machines to check for ghosting myself.. It's about the only 3d app you can run on a damn instore demo computers..
 
According to TomsHardware, this is a good monitor but like someone else said lacks great accuracy...

They also said they would go with the VP191B which is 8 ms with nearly all same features but thats funny that 8 ms is higher costed than a 3 ms aint it? We know that the 8ms is better and obviously VS does too lol
 
Woops! Thought it was news, I dont follow display advancements and I've always kept my CRT because of response times in LCDs havent been that great. It just seemed like one hell of a display, sorry its not news ;) But if this eliminates ghosting I'd pick one up in a heart beat, LCDs have always been much easier to look at for me.
