Ok I need a good LCD monitor for $300. I know at this price point there won't be any "great" monitors but there are at least some good ones out there. I don't want to get a 20" as the native res is 1600x1200 which is too small for me (myopic rhino hehe). I don't want any Dell's because, well, EVERYONE seems to have one and I am starting to get annoyed by the logo and the ugly trademark black (personal opinion). Can anyone recommend me a good LCD with these constituents?

From most to least important

For UNDER $300
1. Viewing Angles: Wider is better
2. Color
3. Sharpness (e.g. DVI)
4. Small bezel
4. Response Time (Ghosting won't be too big an issue as I don't game too much and I see ghosts all the time anyway ) )

Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

If you aren't concerned about gaming, I WOULD recommend a dell. It's excellent for everything but that, at least their 1905FP. I have one, and it is wonderful, but it don't suit my needs, so I'm getting rid of it. Look in the hot deals section to find out how to get one of these for around $300. Either here or anandtech, if the deal is still good.

Im using a polyview v293 I got from Tigerdirect....its nice, there is alittle burring with blacks, but only in Everquest for me. I saw the reviews on Newegg and it was pretty positive, so I took a trip to Miami and bought it from Tiger's outlet store.
