19" CRT for gaming

Hey, looking into getting a 19" CRT monitor for gaming, around the price of $400 Canadian, or $350ish American.
Preferably a NEC, because I've heard the best about them... and one that's known for its reliability!
If anyone could refer me to a hardware critic site, or just have some good advice for monitors, please help :)!!
I was interested in the NEC Diamond monitor (I think thats what it was) just a while ago, but I believe they stopped making them :(

I was on the same boat you are now in, looking for the perfect 19" CRT. And, I will admit, the NEC's are badass, they are a great company. But, after much contemplation, I chose the 19" Viewsonic P95F.

That's a link just for you to look at the specs, but I'm telling you, this is one of the best CRT's I've ever seen. Since you're a gamer, you can play 1024x768 @ 120HZ, 1280x1024 @ 120 HZ, ...and the max res. is 2048x1536.

It also has the UltraBrite settings, so when you're playing a game, you just hit this button and it increases the brightness to perfection. It is Viewsonic's highest model line, "Viewsonic Pxxx," which is their Professional Series.

I bought mine off NewEgg.com a year ago, for $235 + $35 shipping, but I just searched and it is not on there anymore :-\ Either way, I purchase IT products at my current job, and I have the contact of a really good vendor who could get you this monitor for a similar price, or probably even better, and there service is excellent.
