hi guys, quick background on system

x48 mobo, gtx275 primary gpu driving 1920*1200 24", then a 9600gt to run my 2x 19"s 1280*1024 either side.. running beautifully as usual on 182.50.... for some reason something was annoying me in a game so i thought hell ill update drivers, to, 185.85... after this, windows kept reverting my 24" to 1280*1024 and saying with a little yellow balloon at the system tray something about adjusting resolution to best suit my display... this is the issue... it kept doing it every so ofter... and reverted to 1280*1024 on reboots also.. so i updated drivers to 186.08 (beta). still happening but not so frequently.. sort of 3hourly, and is fine on reboot until i actually log into windows...

windows vista x64 fyi.

any help would be greatly appreciated, cant seem to find a fix for this online anyway...

tophus.

find a free version of driver cleaner and remove all your nvidia drivers, reboot and reinstall should be ok.
