18°C CPU temp with air cooling...

with an very powerful fan, its theoretically possible to get lower temps then ambiant temperature.

If the fan causes an slight vaccuum within the cooler and it fins.

The temperature difference is neglectable ;)

you forget one thing.... heat dosent travel in a vaccume... theoretically its still impossible, you cannot get to a lower temp without a phase change of some sort... if you running water cooling and you use a bong cooler... you can get below ambient... because the water vapor goes through a phase change but that is the only way...

Um, vaccume isn't the correct word. He meant 'low pressure zone'. Still, I wouldn't expect this to actually work. If you had micro holes in your HS fins, it might. ;)

thore,

you need to...

1) stop stealing quotes

2)get a couple brain cells to rub together

3)get your own original thought, just b/c you think you know everything doesn't mean you should go picking on the people who dont spend countless hours staring at their computer...

4) DONT EVER STEAL MY QUOTE AGAIN...

My 2500+@2.3GHz on stock cooling@1.8V gives far more reasonable temperatures. 120@load and the case temp is around 95.

i said it once i'll say it again... it stilll isnt possible... you may think that because your mother board is reporting incorrectly your right... but it isnt the case, but spouting the crap you are is just absurd where as what im saying is FACT. tell me this... how do you expect to make a surface colder that the medium your running acrossed it?
