172x Problem... Need Easy fix

In games i've noticed that i am getting horizontal lines when moving around in the environment. I thought that enabeling V-sync would solve this problem but i am still getting the weird like, refresh lines... What is the solution to this problem :p

Long time since I've been on here lol :eek:!

Anyway, are you running the 172x on analog or digital? Because according to this article: http://www.anandtech.com/displays/showdoc.aspx?i=2072&p=8 , they also experieced these lines when running in analog so maybe it's the same thing as them :confused: ?

I'd also really appreciate Bennyb, if you would reply ASAP saying whether or not you got this problem fixed? I'd really like to know because I am seriously considering buying two of these monitors either later tonight or tomorrow.

I was going to go with some Eizo L568s but at $100 more a pop and scarcity, I'm probably going back to the roots of the trusty Samsung name. Thanks a lot and good luck dude! :cool:
 
Oh, I'm running this digital.

And for a reccomendation, yes get this monitor it is absolutly beautiful. I guess ill just have to tinker around with the settings.
 
Hmm, interesting. I really hope you get that problem fixed.

I'll be reading a bit more I guess but looks like I will be getting two of these. Thanks for your input. :cool:
