this and the Stellar Blade sequel were the biggest surprises from Summer Game Fest...this Amsterdam game looks really interesting...has a dark Assassin's Creed + Salem witch hunt vibe

Love how more games set in other time periods than the middle ages is coming out, there are just so much interesting things to explore in the history of humankind.

I just played the prologue out of curiosity which takes a mere 30 min or so. Seems like it might have an interesting story but it's janky af and doesn't really seem to expose you to any actual gameplay, you just walk around responding to button prompts, big no if that's the core loop. The tandem walking thing is particularly odd, you'll see what I mean if you try it. It also runs poorly and looks even worse. I don't recall ever playing a game as a witch though, might be pretty cool if that's the case but early impressions are not good at all.

I like how when you start a new game the menus disappear and you just start walking, little inconsequential thing but I liked it.
