I've been using a 6" heatercore for my watercooling in a fan-shroud-hc-shroud-fan setup. It's big an bulky. Anybody know some good 150mm fans that are fairly quiet? I'd like to try fan-hc-fan, but the 120mm's don't have enough coverage for it.

The only 150mm I've seen is a huge custom made one from frozencpu. Definitely not quiet.

Man I never knew fans went up that High.
Good luck on getting some good 140 or 150mm fans

>50CFM
<20dB
<$20
20mm thick

What is the catch?

I Don't like the blue LEDs, but they can be dealt with.

Good gawd. I took a look at the frozencpu 172x150.

That's the same fan that's on some of the equipment at work. Even with everything loud you can pick out that thing inside of a running machine.
It pull 1.6 Amps. If that's at 12V, how much it pulls when you lower the voltage? I'll bet even at 7V that thing could turn your PC into a vacuum.

"Honey where's the cat"
"Oh, she's just stuck to the front of my coputer again."

I think I'm going to order 2 of the black framed 140mm's, and see how they fare. They will probably do OK in a push-pull setup
