Build looks really good, just built a new system that is quite similar, No reason to change any of the system components, Also I like my rc690 a lot more for cooling than the antec 300, 300 is a good case just not as good as the 690. I currently have the ud4p and really like it just get the latest drivers from their site don't use the drivers on the cd, might want to download them before you build. Also the gtx275 is great but you might want to consider the gtx280 it is ten bucks cheaper, has a 20 dollar rebate as well, and still comes with Call of duty, it performs about the same from what I've seen in reviews, but the 280 does have more memory which I think would make a difference at 1920x1080 or above

Do you guys have any suggestions on a wireless G adapter? Are they all pretty much the same?- I don't need anything special.

Its not really worth $300. ;) (nor $60, IMO) I don't like Logitechs, but sound is subjective, so go with what you like.

Stick to the popular models and you should be fine. The one I would have recommended is discontinued (Abit AirPace). WiFi on a desktop? why not wired?

I want to put it behind a router which is currently hooked up to another computer in another room. Also my cable connection is stronger where the router is.
 
Yeah man. Don't go wireless, the speed does not compare to a wired connection. Even on my notebook, I still have it hooked up with an ethernet connection. Only out of convenience I will rely on a wireless connection like.. I have to step out of the house. Other than that, best to have a wired connection.

I've been using the D-Link DWA-556 Extreme N PCI-E Adapter and I've been quite happy with it thus far.
 
I see that the GTX 280 is the same price, should I go for that instead of the 275?
 
GTX 280. Why?

1. more memory 1gb vs 896mb on the GTX 275

2. larger memory interface

3. more ROP units. 141.7 GB/s vs 127 GB/s on the GTX 275

I think you should spend a little more and get the M-Audio AV 40 for $119 or the Swan D1080MkII for $125 The problem with most of these plastic 2.0, 2.1, 5.1 and 7.1 multimedia speakers is that although it can deliver the bass, their satellite speakers is lacking in the definition area.
 
I was going to say something about the speakers but for 60 it's hard to find something that's truly better, and the killer is once you get into the 100+ range you could get a real surround sound system. Last major system build I picked up this

currently out of stock at sony It was a 150 when I bought it, but it is still a real surround system and connecting through the fiber optic line it works like a charm with 5.1. plus you can hook up any other media components or game systems as well. In my mind that's the main problem with more expensive 2.0, 2.1 systems that you get a smaller system for just a little less money.
