I'm wondering if an X1950XTX is an overdue, is it? I'm probaly going to upgrade to a 20.1" monitor soon. I want HDCP so i can watch HD-DVD and Blu-Ray movies. Any suggestions? I'm thinking probaly like a 7950 GT or something along those lines...

X1900XT 256mb would be fine for those resolutions. In fact, it would be more than enough.

Both the 7950 GT and the X1950 XTX are too much for those resolutions, but if money is not a problem, go for one of them. They are excellent cards.
But my suggestion goes to a 7600 GT (some of them are HDCP ready), which should go for about $150 and will do quite nicely at those resolutions.

get two 7950GX2's and go quad SLI because those resolutions need it!!!

nah i'm being a jerk, 7600GT or if you want to spend more 7950GT. by the way, i have a 7900GT and i play oblivion at 1024x768. if you insist on having all details compeltely maxed and having AF on 16x and the game being playable, then pick up the 7950GT. if you don't care and will hapily drop a few details down, then just get the 7600GT.
