130GB limitation?

I just bought an Hitachi Deskstar T7K250 160GB Serial ATA II harddrive. It will serve as the boot and storage drive (please don't complain about that as it is not the point in question).

I've read about limitations that prevent more than 130gb's from being recognized. Is there a workaround for this, or do i need seperate partitions? I was thinking like a 30gb partition for the OS install, and the other 130 for storage.

Presuming it's going on the motherboard in your sig, your BIOS and ATA host will both be good to go. Slipstream SP2 onto your Windows XP Install CD and you will be good to go with any partition size you desire (up to the capacity of the disk of course :p)
 
It's going to be on my system in the works: MSI K8n Neo4 Platinum Mobo

I've got an XP w/ SP2 cd.. so i'm all set then?
