im running a couple 244s on a tyan thunder k8sr with an antec true 550 eps12v power supply and my +12v line is at +11.294. there is no other hardware hooked up yet besides an 80gig drive and a couple fans. is this rail dangerously low, and if so what could be the problem? i dont have any other esp12v ps's, so ive tried running on an enermax 550w with the 20-24 pin and 4-8 pin adapters and got the same voltages.

+3.3 @ 3.403 also

Well, it might run, but would crash constantly at best ;)

Verify the +12 V rail with a DMM.

is having .50 or so more than 12v okay? software on this one shows like 12.40-12.94 usually.

Uh, try reading the posts above.

Get a multimeter.

+12 V rail has 5% tolerance, so 12.60 - 11.40, though you want to stay as far away from those limits as possible.

Only trust a voltmeter/DMM.
