ok so my evga 7800gtx is going to require 12v @ 26a....i was at best buy about to buy an antec truepower 430watt psu and it says 12v @ 17a? is the 12v @ 26a combined totals?

this is the psu i almost bought.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817103928R

they have it at best buy for 89.00 so thats cheaper than what i could get it shipped overnight from newegg. can someone help here?

thanks.

Note that there's two +12V outputs. Should be fine.
ahhhhh thank you miyagi san.....the geek squad guy at best buy had not one clue. i probably know more than him just from frequenting these forums. :p

o.k., i'm still a bit confused by this. when you have 2, 12v@17A do these run in conjunction with one another? OR, do they run seperately? is it a combined total with only one pin being plugged in?

so if i understand this correctly, my video card is benefiting from the COMBINED total of the 2 12v rails? right?
This PSU should be fine for your system.

One rail powers the CPU, the other powers everything else.
