128gb memory for 3900x?

Samsung says they do 32GB 2600 ECC UDIMM. This is what you need to get. 128GB is not for gaming but for workstationing. :)

3900x is a great workstation CPU and it supports ecc.

128GB if you can saturate it should very nice for WS tasks.

Those corsair 32GB 3200 Cl16 modules should work great but they are not ECC. But even workstations do not need ECC. Ecc is for servers literally that have months/years uptime. Not doing some 3d rendering and gaming.

My socket 2011 FreeNAS has been running forn7 years with maybe 2 weeks of down time. It has 48GB registered DDR 3 ECC in it.

I've gotten zero data loss or bit errors etc over those 7 years thanks to ECC. But I'd never run ECC in a common workstation.
