128GB DDR4 for AMD Ryzen R1700, Asus ROG CH VI Hero

Hi guys,

Just doing some research and wondering if anyone is aware of any 32GB DDR4 UDIMMS. I haven't seen any but I believe they're technically possible. (All of the largers DIMMS I am seeing are RDIMMS... ie - no good for Ryzen.)

As noted above I am currently running an R1700 on an Asus ROG Crosshair VI Hero. Great board so far.... a few incompatibilities with some peripherals, but overall still an 'A' board. (Just thought I'd add this point for context.)

Please note that RAM speed is of less consequence than capacity.

Any advice is appreciated - I am just going through the DDR4 and Ryzen specs now to see if this is even possible. I have 64GB currently so there isn't a significant rush either.

16GB is the largest possible with current memory chips.
