120mm & Fan Controller

Could you guys please recommend some relatively quiet 120mm fans which also push a decent amount of air? I currently have 4 Antec Tri-Cool fans and one 92mm Arctic Cooling fan in my system (not including a Scythe S-Flex SFF21F on the heatsink).

The system is not very silent and I would like to make it quieter without compromising much on the cooling.

I was considering these Arctic Cooling fans with a temperature sensor. However, I also wanted to get a fan controller to regulate the speed of each fan. I found this controller from NZXT or this Scythe fan controller.

Any suggestions? I'm not looking to spend $20 per fan, but I would like a decent upgrade over these older Antec Tri-Cool fans which came with the case. Thanks.

Scythe Slipstreams are good cheap fans. If you're pushing through a restriction have a look at the S-Flex line.

For a controller I'm a fan of lamptron products.

I comb the eBay sites for the basic 2 knob type of fan controllers made by BCW....they're about 8 bucks each shipped to my door & have a really good transistor controlled voltage regulator that can go consistently from 4.5v to 12v. I usually by a liquid-bearing 120mm fan that can do about 2000RPM & dial it up or down depending on the performance profile I need. If I'm watching a movie & want silent cooling, I'll dial the controller all the way down so that I'm only running at 5v/900RPM & almost silent....or dial it up for gaming, folding, benching or OC'ing, which moves a lot of air at 2000RPM...Coolermsater, Scythe, & Noctua are but a few big names but my favourite is GELID...

Will probably go with the slipstream fans.

Any suggestions on a good fan controller?

They make different speeds of that fan. They are HIGHLY regarded as one of the best fans on the market.
