120mm case mount screws

Anyone know the dimensions of the screws used to mount 120mm closed corner case fans (specifically the Yate Loon 120mm)? It looks like my case didn't include screws for it, and I'd rather go to Home Depot locally than have to order special screws from a place online and wait several days.

If you are in a hurry get some sheet metal screws from Home Depot. I do that all the time
and they work every bit as well. And are a heck of a lot cheaper than buying specific fan screws online.

Not sure what size? Take the fan with you. The threads should be slightly larger than the hole diameter obviously.

Another option would be to get bolts and nuts--in that case, of course, you want the threads slightly smaller than the fan holes.

I generally use 1 1/4" 8-32 (for 25mm deep fans) machine "combo round w/ nut", these are readily available @ Lowes, they are cheap and you can get some Acorn Nuts to put on the ends to clean em up. The 8-32 screws just fit inside the fans screw holes.

Thanks for the advice. Hit a Lowe's and picked up the nuts and bolts. Funny thing: the package of 8 nuts and bolts was less than a buck; a package of 5 acorn nuts to fit was 7.80. Needless to say I used regular nuts.

Are you serious? I just bought 4 packs of 8-32 acorn nuts, a few bags of bolts and some washers and it cost just over 8 bucks and that was at a Lowes....
