I'm going to replace the 4 120 fans in my rc690, and was wondering which fans can push a lot of air but at the same time very quiet?

i was looking at this

Scythe SY1225SL12SH 120mm

but are there any better suggestion? I just want a silent fan that pushes a lot of air.

I like S-FLEX SFF21E, but the Slipstream fans are excellent as well. Expensive, but awesome.

I have six SFF21Es in my rig right now. Five case fans and one on my Xigmatek.

I just had 2 delivered today, will let you know once I get home from work...

i heard these were good too?

Noctua NF-P12-1300

Look like it gets 50cfm with only 19 dba.

Are there any better stuff?

Don't look at the advertised specs. Manufactures like to embellish.

Noctua and Scythe make great fans. People also like cheap and quiet Yate Loon fans. I've used a few from Petra's Tech Shop and they were great. I think the Scythe fans would last longer though.

You can't go wrong with Noctua. If you don't mind the color scheme, they are cool and quite.

Not going to happen, Noctua is a bit iffy when it comes to ratings and are very, very over priced, the slipstream fans are some of the best you can get for value, get the 1,200rpm or the 800rpm ones if you don't want to undervolt. You can read an article about them all here at SPCR. And the Noctua fans here.

yeah definently scythe they are great. just remember that
wenn you pass the 1000 rpm mark 120mm fans begins to
be quite a lot more noisy..no matter what brand u pick :)

the slipstreams are good for use as just a general case fan
but they "suck" (lol) on a tight grill or a radiator. s-flex are
the best all round fan also for use on a heatsink or a radiator.
noctua are great also but maybe a slight different sound.
yate loon are great cheap fans.

there's a lot more great fans but these are my favorites :)
Xtreme systems forum sadly are down right now or i would
have given you a great fan review from in there :D well you
can properly find it yourself wenn they open again. or else
I might edit this post.
