120hz PC gaming question with SoE

I have a 120HZ LCD tv and it games most tv programs the SoE "Soap Oprah Effect". I cant stand it and currently shopping for a plasma to replace it. Now, im thinking of getting a 27" 120hz LCD for me PC once they start coming out and i was wondering will these do the same thing. I use my pc mainly for gaming.
 
The 120hz LCD TV you are using does not take a 120hz input, it is doubling frames essentially via post processing. 120hz LCD monitors actually take 120hz input.
 
the blurriness is coming from the frame interpolation of hdtvs
24fps to 120fps interpolation displays 4 blurry frames for every clear frame
won't be different on a plasma using that

a real 120hz display on the other hand displays no blurry frames and is only limited by response time
