Seagate decided never to go into ATA133 looking into the future at SATA... It shouldn't have that much of a performance drop when compared with 133...

Disregard the thread crappers and it's a good deal! They had a 160GB WD for the same price AMIR last week, but this is probably the best thing going.

Seagate MIR are most likely to go through. They wouldn't tarnish their reputation over something so trivial.

ATA-100 is not going to perform any worse over ATA-133, SATA 150 or SATA-II. Sustained transfer rate on this drive likely caps around 60! Only thing ignorance is good for is a wallop to the head and wallet. www.storagereview.com is your friend.
