After contemplating for several weeks and doing a ton of research, I am embarking on a major upgrade to my existing computer system.

Here are the specs of what I was running before:

Lian Li PC75B Black Full Tower Case
Thermaltake 560 Watt PSU
Abit IC7-MAX3
Intel P4 Socket 478 3.4Ghz Extreme Edition CPU
Radian CS7127 Turbo Helix HSF
Corsair TwinX1024-3200 XL Pro
BFG GeForce 6800 Ultra O/C
ATI HDTV Wonder
2 x WD 74Gig 10,000rpm Raptors
1 x Seagate 120Gb 7200.7
1 x Sony Black 52x CDROM Drive
1 x Sony Black 16x DVD Player
1 x Plextor Black PlexWriter Premium
1 x Plextor Black 708A DVD +/- RW

2 x Vantec Black Tornado Hard Drive Coolers
2 x 80mm Tri-Color Fans for Front Intake
4 x 80mm Tri-Color Fans for Rear Exhaust
8 in 1 USB 2.0 Card Reader
Using On-Board Sound

Here is the listing of what I will have when I get done:

Lian Li PC75B Black Full Tower Case with Custom Made Dual PSU Mounting Plate
2 x OCZ 600 Watt PowerStream PSUs working in a Partial Parallel Configuration
DFI LanParty 875P-T LGA775 Motherboard

2 x Vantec Black Tornado Hard Drive Coolers
2 x 80mm Tri-Color Fans for Front Intake
8 in 1 USB 2.0 Card Reader
Sound Blaster Audigy ZS Platinum Pro
--> Water Cooling Setup:
--> Koolance EXOS Dual Pump Res
--> Dual 5ᄐ Bay Res
--> Swiftech Water Pump
--> Swiftech MCW6000 LGA775 CPU Block
--> Swiftech MCW20 NorthBridge Block
--> Swiftech Radiator with 120mm Fan

**Specifications may change to the above configuration.

Right now I have the system running with one PSU, no water cooling and a XP-120 with a Quad Color 120mm Fan. CPU is running 16 x 250Mhz equalling 4Ghz.

The custom PSU plate will be completed this Saturday and the 2nd PSU will be here today. There are still a few details to iron out though. The primary one being with the parallel implementation of the 12v2 rails of each PSU. I will have to spend a good deal of time fine tuning the voltages to get them as close to matching as physically possible. The secondary being matching flow rates between all 3 pumps.

Constructive comments or suggestions are always welcome!

So is the radiator going to do exhaust duty, or are you just relying on positive pressure?

The radiator will be used for some of the exhausting duties, but mainly the PSUs will handle most of it. I might change over to a dual rad setup, or a single extended rad with 2 x 120mm fans running on 7volts.

Hmm, that motherboard is an 875 chipset and it supports LGA 775 processors? Since it was 875, I assumed it would only support the older Prescott's and Northwoods... I thought only the 915 and 925 supported LGA 775 CPU's.

DFI made a hybrid motherboard that would support the LGA775 CPUs, yet, kept DDR1 and AGP support. This board is a cost effective upgrade to those wanting to get into the LGA775 arena but don't want to go through the high cost of upgrading to the 915/925 chipset based boards, PCIe and DDR2 RAM.

This is not the only board that does this. Asus has a i865 based board that will also support the LGA775 CPUs.

utterly pointless to get 2x ocz 600w psu's. The pc power and cooling 510 deluxe will handle that rig without the fan even spinning up.

I agree. If you wanted to go all out on the PSUs, you should have gotten the new 850W PCP&C - at least it's a little more future proof.

uh...the 915/925 still only support prescott and northwoods....

the pin layout has no impact on the chipset/support.....
