I have a 6970 CFX setup and I just installed the 12.1a drivers from AMD that were supposed to fix many RAGE issues.
Honestly, I really didnt have any problems in RAGE before with the 11.11b's, maybe a little texture pop-in here and there
nothing really noticeable. So I figured what the hell and updated . So far these drivers have actually fixed many stuttering
issues I was having in some games and I decided to stay with them. However, when I booted up RAGE I ran into a
serious issue. The splash screens were running at about 2fps like a strobe light (literally). The 2fps is consistant all the
way into the menu, I loaded up the campaign and sure enough, still 2fps. Total bullshit, this driver was only supposed to
fix RAGE and only RAGE. It fixed some other problems I was having and destroyed RAGE. I tried turning off CFX and the
fps goes from 2 to 4. Is anybody else having this issue???
