I don't understand how I'm getting such a low score.

The score is gonna be affected greatly by what your GPU is. I get close to that score (actually around 11,800) with a stock E8500 and stock settings of my 8800 GT OC 660/950. But when I jack my GPU up to 750/1026 my score increased to 13,000. If you can list your system specs it would increase the convo.

Complaining about an 11k score w/ an E6600 @ 3.0 and an 8800GTX? That's not a bad score for that setup. I average around 12.6k on my Q6600 @ 3.0 /w 8800GT stock 700/1700/920. The most I've gotten out of my system was 13,782 @ 3.2 w/ my GT running 750/1850/1000. I'm sure if I pushed my proc harder I'd break 14k, but what do I really care. I don't play 3dmark and I value the life of my system.

Yep i agree.
If you want to get around 14K, you need to clock your CPU and GPU lots.

For reference, I get 14k with a 4GHz E8400, 760/1890/930 8800GT.

Vista or XP?
Vista scores lower than XP with same exact system.

OC your GPU and CPU and the score will go up quite a bit.

My stock setup in XP (Q6600 & 8800GT 512) = around 10k
OC 3.6GHz & 745/1760/2000 GPU = 15.3k

Wow I have a good score then!

I get 10K with my Q6700 @ 3.33GHz and my SLI'ed 8600GT 256MB with stock clocks. Not bad I think.

I went from 9k, to 12.1k by overclocking the GTS (from factory 575mhz to 690core).

The CPU plays *very* little importance in 3Dmark.

In that case I'll lower the CPU voltage since it's running a little hot. I'll boost my GPU up a bit to see how that goes. Thanks for the help! I'm running XP

I get around 14k but thats only cause I got the quad core @ 3ghz and o/c'ed my gtx a bit. Your score seems about right.
