Never overclocked one of the six cores from AMD. My question is if you do over clock them does the turbo feature overclock equally? For example if you overclock the 1090t to 3.6 from 3.2 does turbo stepping also jump 400MHz?

Anybody farmiliar with this? How does it work?

You manually set the turbo core setting. Most who overclock the 1090T and 1100T leave turbo off.

the turbo feature downclocks 3 cores to boost the other 3 in instances of need. not 100% of the time.

just O/C it manually using the multiplier and voltage. then move to the memory bus speed

Makes sense... With a good enough mobo and cooler overclocking all six cores shouldn't be an issue. Thanks!

like everyone has said. use the cpu multiplier and cpu voltage to overclock the processor. once you find your max overclock set the CPU-NB voltage to 1.3v and set the CPU-NB to 3Ghz.. and your done.

See if you can get the ram to run at 2000mhz. That's a bit of a effort. Ok there's a trick to it. When your stuck let me know and ill show ya lol

I'm assuming the OP knows how to overclock. He just had a specific question about how turbo core works when overclocking.
