My high school video production class just got 11 new G5's. Awsome PC...errr Apple...uhh..Computer. 250 gig HDD, 2 GIG memory, 17inch display, DVD burner and loads of software. PhotoBooth is the most fun application I have every used. 90% of class time is taken up by me and my friends taking tons and tons of photos. We laugh so hard we cry. But, what I want to know is if theres any admin things I can do to have some fun with them. Any hidden things or something like that?

Unless you know the administrator password you are out of luck. I worked for my high school a few years ago, and one of the things we had to deal with were kids who thought it was "fun" to mess up the computers (also mac environment.) No one was ever successful, since we did a good job of locking them down. Just don't do it, you will only get suspended and waste people's time.

Seriously, don't mess with them. What's fun to you is a pain in the ass to support staff. The end result is either non-functional computers because the support staff give up, or them locking the computers down so hard you can't do anything but stare at the desktop. The company I work for provides support for lots of school districts and I always feel bad when we have to bill them because some 10th grader thought it would be cute to change something on a computer that doesn't belong to him. It's not your computer, it's mine. I paid 26% of my paychecks this year for it.

Most schools are funding-deficient, don't contribute to the problem.
