11.4 cap2 profile out

Is it required to uninstall older cap file before installing a new one?

Funny you ask that, i've never seen it posted anywhere, however from my own findings in the short time gaming with AMD hardware the newer cap will do nothing if you don't uninstall the old cap. This is probably not true 100% of the time however when I had cap 11.3 cap 1 and installed 11.3 cap 2 over it crysis 2 still scaled like shit in crossfire, I removed both caps, rebooted and loaded cap 2 and guess what a 50% boost in performance just by doing a clean install. This is the way I'm gonna do it from now on.

Yikes, I have 100% confirmed that this Cap Breaks crossfire scaling in Crysis 2, if you are running crysis 2 with crossfire do not use this cap.

To elaborate

I removed old cap,
Rebooted pc
Disabled all av software
Installed this cap
Rebooted
Tried game and got same fps as with single card
Uninstalled this cap
Rebooted
Disabled all av software
Installed 11.4 Cap 1
Rebooted
Played Crysis 2 and back to Crossfire scaling fps
