I have a 10K 72gb HP SCSI drive running 80 to 68pin via a PCI card. Is that faster than say a 80gb 7200 WD ATA drive? How does a raptor stack up with these two drives?

Looking to format and put Vista on my computer...so what would be the best drive to use...72gb SCSI 10k or 80GB WD ATA 7200.

There are hundreds of posts like this, a quick search prob would have given all the answers you need.

A lot depends on the generation of the drive but generally the SCSI 10K will beat out a 7200 IDE drive, again though that depends on other factors such as the controller card.
