As always, thanks for the responses, I know I could have used the search a bit better but I wanted a more direct answer regarding these high bitrate mkv's.
Thanks wiretap, your thread was just what I needed. I was a little surprised that the 4800 am2 would be ok but it looks fine, the only one was hellboy but that then I never encode to anything past 12mb/s if I can avoid it.

Yeah, that Hellboy encode peaks around 40mbit, lol. It's pretty intense.
I think my encode of eyes wide shut was around 15mbit, that's the highest I've seen.
Would a 6000+ be possible inside one of those cases? I'll have a check on the net to see if the wattage varies across the am2 range.

The Jetway board only takes a 65w processor.
If you want a mini-ITX for more as a power user application, you might want to look at this:

I didn't get that one because I don't think 8ch audio works with LPCM over HDMI.

The realtek chip it uses is six channel only and can support DTS Connect if the manufacture implements it which I don't think Jetway has.
