Nice prices indeed... bought a 1070 Ti for about 380 after MiR on the 26th but it appears an employee of Newegg is bringing it via bus and he'd stopping at every damn bus-stop from Indy to Miami because it will take them like 2 weeks to deliver it.:(

Have seen that on all kinds of things I've had shipped lately.
My items take scenic trips all over the country and arrive very late.

One item was an SSD from Newegg. Got handed off from DHL to USPS
and then sat in different USPS offices for many days. Finally arrived about
5 days after the expected date. Not like it was a big box, just one small
padded envelope., big challenge for them for some reason.

The carriers did much worse this holiday season for me than ever before.

ETA: That SSD also came from Indy, took a long time to make it from Indy to Chicago.
Maybe there is some problem going on in Indy especially.

yeah all of them were pretty bad, i currently have a monitor i ordered ship to my city twice now by UPS went from dallas to spokane to SLC, utah to spokane and is now sitting in Louisville, Ky.. guess they're really trying to milk that "estimated delivery time of between dec 28th-January 2nd". mind you the other item that was suppose to be in the same box the monitor is in is sitting on my desk right now, lol. o_O

but back on topic, unless you're using these cards as a hold over i really wouldn't touch the gigabytes, way to many issues with coil whine, bad fans, shitting ass default fan profiles and pretty much non existent customer service.

Wonder if the RTX 2060s will come with free/unwanted copies of space invaders. XD

Newegg saver shipping sucks. I have shoprunner so it's free 2 day and it usually gets here next day since their warehouse is a couple states away from me. If you have AMEX you probably have access to shoprunner

    EVGA 1070 $310

There was a 275$ Gigabyte ITX card yesterday, but that's back up to $360.

1070 in the used market is a better value, especially this late in the cards life. Still $330 isn't bad for new. I got the G1 gaming, like new for $195

I scored a 1070ti for 270 used from a member. It was a mining card but I don't have concerns..

I ordered a EVGA GTX 1070 Gaming Black Edition for my daughter on 12/21 for $334, and it arrived on 12/24 using super eggsaver free shipping and came with two games. It shipped from Indy and I'm near Columbus, but it beat the estimated arrival by two days.

yes this was a card built for Dell. There are several reviews on YouTube. It's legit just cheap components and a different heatsink I believe.

Still a very premium price for an OEM product despite the "$1000 markdown".
Should be $100 less than they are asking, then I'll think about it.

If I needed warranty service I'm guessing I would be referred to Dell and Dell would say they have
no record of the sale and ask for the Service Tag number of the system. That's a fun game they play
on this OEM stuff that gets dumped in the retail channel.

    They can keep them.

I think you'd go through MSI maybe...? No idea to be honest. But yeah I'd say that card should be avoided for that and other reasons.

Usually the original MFR does not offer a warranty. They will probably steer you to Dell since that's who they sold them to.
When OEM parts are dumped in the retail channel, it's usually very difficult to get warranty service on them.

That's why they should be sold at a deep discount to make them desirable.

I got the EVGA 1070TI for 350 and B&H photo and included Monster Hunter World. It has been a fantastic card for that price.

They sure are very proud of their card

I am selling my 2003 buick Rendevouz for cheap... I started asking 100K but because of the holidays I am reducing the price massively, make sure to PM me if you want to be the first to get it for 25K. I mean that's a saving of 75K right there and you'll get it in time before the 3 kings arrive :D:p

On a more serious note though, just like I was dissing Newegg before now I gotta say that I am not as upset as I initially was because I got my card today.

Keeping up with the comedy relief on USPS, I shipped an item from Miami to Opa Locka (also in Miami) on the 18th of December and it arrived only a few days ago because the package decided to visit some family in California for a few days

Yep.... I know it shows the 1 year warranty. But it has often been difficult to actually get warranty service on the OEM parts.

And as far as buying another expensive warranty, I don't see the point of that.
Just buy a good retail card with a good warranty if you are going to lay out the cash anyway.

are Nvidia cards still retarded about SLI needing two identical branded cards?

You are just not seeing any new GTX1080 cards out there currently for sale (NEW). Not many 1070s for that matter. Seen many a 1060OC card at premium prices though
