I was on the team that R&D'd the machines that did post production for Dust to Glory - one of the first all digital workflows. ;)
 
will any of these work on my dvd player with component outputs? I have big screen tvs never used for HD before, they are HDTVs.

Unless its a HD-DVD player *which I highly doubt* as there just coming into the market, then no, it won't work.
 
so after downloading these, all i need is my 30 inch HD ready 720p (1280x720) LCD syntax monitor to play and it will be HD quality? it is connected though DVI btw. im thinking yes...
