• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

The 73GB Raptor's little brother is significantly slower (often merely equal to much cheaper per GB 7200RPM drives) and has only half the capacity, at a much higher cost per GB. To be avoided. No amount of RAID-0 will make these drives equal to a single 740GD or 1500ADFD.

I don't have any "benchmarks" to back this up (too lazy to go look for them now), but the performance and security of the single 74GB is much better than 2x 36's.

Actually, it's even easier since your asking only for gaming. Raid 0 only helps in large sequential transfers, which is not how games are loaded. The seek performance of the 74 will be much better under game loading situations.
