wanting to replace STOCK psu in qpack...wat do you guys recommend. budget is 100 bucks....is it even possible?

if you want quietness go for a seasonic s12 500w or 600w or a zalman 460w. Or Antec and FSP is always a good brand. Search for prices on pricegrabber to find the lowest price.

Wouldn't he be able to get a higher version like a Truepower II 550 for 89.99?? :)

Is there anything better than that?

I have an X-finity from Ultra which is 500watts
strengths:
Looks pretty
pretty stable
Fairly quiet

weaknesses:
it is not "top of the line"...it is just good

I also have the Seasonic S12 500w (which broke on me once but that is rare for Seasonic)

Strengths:
Top of the line
Stable and solid rails
Very quiet because of that power correction thingy

Weaknesses:
Ugly as anything
Wires get all tangled

Enermax Liberty ftw
I like OCZ so much I would recommend a ModStream :D but im not sure that the price is ~$100

Theres no point in getting the OCZ one, its just bigger and doesnt perform any better than the Liberty which is a perfect PSU.

thanks guys for the responses.....i like the liberty seems like alot of you have it....but thing that concerns me is that huge fan.....wont it get in the way of my cards, and does that fan blow out..?? i dont want it blowing on my 6800gs....might get even hotter

crazy liberty...oh well, yeah the 120mm fan is an intake and it blows out the back. 120mm fans are quieter than 2 80mm fans.
