$100+ cans for Music

When you say $100+ do you mean around 100 or that you have no problem going over 100?

If the first, then the 280pro are quite nice from what I have heard.

If you can go over 100 then I highly recommend the AKG 271studio cans. I have them for over a month and they are a joy.
 
I meant 100 and a bit not over 125 I guess.
I'm a bit conflicted whether to go for open cans or closed ones.
My SR60s are open and quite nice, but not the most comfortable cans on the planet.
I'll look up the AKG's you mentioned.

Well, from the list you mentioned I know that the 555 are more comfortable than the 280. I have no experience with Grado sets.

If you can find the AKG 271s (studio) then IMO you can't go wrong. They should be about your price range cause I bought them in Greece for 140 euros and for electronics there is the special "let's screw the european customers" rate of 1 US dollar = 1 euro.

Did you adjust the headband by bending it?

Yep, I used the "soccer ball" technique.
Still after a while they hurt my right ear.

OUCH- those AKG's are almost $200 - that's over my budget.
$125 is where the buck literally stops.
