10.6 Drivers... ouch

I was still on the 10.4, but upgraded to 10.6 just to see what the hub bub is about. I know a some of people seem to be having an issue with them, but they are working fine for me on two different computers with a 5870 in each one.
 
With my last post in the 10.5 thread, I'm guessing the PowerPlay issues that caused atikmdiag.sys and AMD Events service to crash is still causing crashes in 10.6.

Looks like I'm sticking to 10.4 for the time being.
 
ATI somehow managed to undo the good things it did with dual monitors in 10.5 with 10.6

How that is even possible...I don't know.
 
Works fine on 10.4a......ran slower on 10.6 and had issues w/some games....crossing fingers w/10.7:rolleyes:
 
anyone else with dual monitors notice: while passive clocks are 400/whatever your memory clock is, it underclocks to 400/900 when watching videos (youtube) etc?

Seems they missed something...
