10.12 drivers stable?

As you'll notice from the link, they are the the 6900 series press drivers which are the same which were supplied to sites like [H] to review the 6900 series. 10.12a is just a name, they very well could have released it as 10.11f or 10.12 RC2 instead. To avoid confusion, they most likely released them as 10.12a to make it clear they were the newest drivers which were quality tested with the 6900 series, so people didn't mistakenly try to install 'unsupported' but newer 10.12 drivers.

Basically you'll just need to wait until AMD gets motivated to build a Catalyst 10.12 set for the 6900 series, which obviously has not yet happened since these '10.12a' 6900 series press/review drivers were built.
