Currently i have a desk set up with multiple monitors and they go to different comps...

I was wondering if it was possible to have 1 mouse and 1 keyboard for multiple comps?

Having more than 1 mouse lying around is getting kinda old :)

KVM - you can leave the monitors plugged into their respective machine and use the KVM for the K_M functions. That's what I do..

There was a program that could do this kind of thing over LAN and it was featured some time ago on The Screen Savers. I can't find it now but it may be what you're looking for.

the whole kv idea is good except i need to be able to see both monitors at once, and if i use the KVM one monitor has to go black for me to use the others

plz post anything you find out, it is greatly appreciated

No- it doesn't.

Have a KVM... Plug Monitor 1 into Computer 1; Plug Monitor 2 into Computer 2.

Plug K/M from computer 1 into KVM, plug K/M from computer 2 into KVM.

Monitors don't turn off- K/M will switch...

ya, didnt think of that :rolleyes: but the thing is i have 2 comps on the KVM so i still need the monitor in there for the 3rd comp, ima post on some other forums and see if there are any alternatives in my case of having 3 comps on 2 monitors

JHFC,HDIOOTFW - (Jesus Holy Fucking Christ, Head Density Is Out Of This Fucking World) (Had to post that... )

Nest KVM's...

KVM1 -> C1 and KVM2
KVM2 -> C2 and C3

Do some fanangling like that...
