I would like to move from a 2000rpm (76cfm) Nexus PWM fan over to a pair of Artic cooling 1350rpm PWM (2x57cfm) fans in push/pull. My concern is will it cool as well as the single 2000 rpm fan?
 
I doubt there would be much of a difference between them. The two slower fans are going to be quieter though.

I would look into a 38mm thick fan if it was my pc. A 1200-1500RPM Panaflo will have a decent amount of static pressure and it will move plenty of air.
 
I ended up trying three Arctic cooling PWM fans with PST. This way all three fans will daisy chain off the PWM connector on the mobo and throttle up as needed. I have a feeling the extra speed under load the rear fans will produce will help the overall temps and the system will remain quiet when not under load. Hopefully this works! This new PST system from Arctic cooling is pretty sick!
 
Push pull fans created a buzzing noise on this sink so I moved it into another place. All fans throttling up to keep the system cool is quieter then the 2000rpm fan I had and my temps are identical even with one fan on the CPU side... im going to replace my front fans with the PWM on teh diasy chain so those throttle up as well. This should create cooler case temps and really improve temps wihtout adding much extra noise at all. So my end result shoudl be better cooling and less noise. Esepcially when these things throttle down to like 600 RPM at idle :)

I agree, I've got 5 of these fans hooked up to two 4pin connectors controlled by speedfan and I love them!
