I bought my Athlon 2000+ 2 years ago almost, i couldnt fit it myself so i asked my uncles friend to install it for me. When I got the computer back it was fine.
But the cpu voltage is 1.84v and I know for a fact thats not its default voltage so whats the deal? Sandra 2004 and my BIOS both says my cpu runs at 1.84v. My cpu gets to temps around high 50- mid 60's C which is not a nice feeling. I have a coolmaster cpu fan which is huge and should keep the cpu cool....... im guessing the high voltage is causing the high temperture???
Maybe my uncles friend made the cpu voltage 1.84v in the BIOS after he fitted it? if he did is it safe to turn it back to what it should be? i think it should be 1.7v ???
