Looking at the Thermaltake Kandolf LCS but it is only 3/8 and a bit of a low end pump.

How important is water flow? Is it more important than say a good radiator?

The Kandalf doesn't have a very good radiator for what it's worth. If you were looking to get it and upgrade the rad with another triple rad and another pump (the DDC for instance) it would make a good basis for a water cooled system. Be aware that I've read more than a few horror stories of the Tt acrylic topped blocks cracking and leaking.

3/8 is still good... i wouldnt worry about upping it to 1/2.... if you're only cooling a cpu and vid card then you should be fine.

but as said before.. do not use the blocks that come with it.. buy a real water block.
