I have no idea what this means. I know that it's best to have your OC/RAM (or something) at 1:1, but what exactly does it mean? can anyone tell me if i'm at "1:1"???

Athlon-M XP 2400+ @ 2.2Ghz (11x200 @ 1.75V)
512MB Mushkin pc3200 @ 2.5-3-3-11
Shuttle AN35N nForce 2 Ultra

if not, what do I have to do to make it 1:1?

Running 1:1 means your RAM and FSB are running the same speed. If you're running 5:4 for example, your FSB is faster than your RAM. The advantage of 1:1 is obviously more speed, but the when you want to go really high with your RAM, you'll need that 5:4 ratio to keep everything stable

1:1, example, you have a DDR400 PC3200 ram that has a default speed of 200mhz (ddr400/2 = 200mhz), and if you have an amd 64 3200+ at stock or 2.0ghz, that would be 1:1
Because your FSB of your amd 64 3200+ at 2.0ghz will be at 200mhz x 10x multiplier
200mhz RAM and 200mhz - 1:1

5:4 is just another ratio, I think you can calculate it with enough mathematics =)
example, 250mhz x 10 CPU = 125% of 200mhz ram which is 5:4

Hope you know what they mean now.

Using either a 1:1 or 5:4 ratio, you will acheive the utmost performance opposed that if you did a different ratio.

However you can refer to the OC guide in this forum ^^
