1:1 ratio HELP!

Hey guys!

I'm on the hunt for a new 16:10 1920x1200 display to my gaming pc and so far I've come down to two choices:

ASUS PA248Q

Benq BL2411PT

The ASUS one has something called 1:1 ratio (is it called that?) that displays 1080p content without stretching the image. The Benq apparently lacks this.

Now I'm a hardcore gamer but I'd also like to watch movies on the computer. Will the lack of 1:1 ratio be a problem for gaming? Are some games better at 1080p?

I will be gaming a variety of games but I also do some work and I just can't stand 16:9 monitors.
