hdd st1000lm024

I have laptop with good specification which are core i7 processor and 8 gigs of Ram hdd is 1 tb ST1000LM024 earlier there wasn't any issues with the speed of copying and moving files between drives but now am getting only 12 mb/s as an avg. Speed please help for this problem. am getting tired...
