Remember the guys that made the fan-made film "Enter the Freeman" (here)? Well, they are trying to raise the money to turn it into a Half-Life live action web series. Hit the link for more info and watch the video below for a teaser of what's to come.
 
Looking good. Just don't start it and leave it open at the ending like the Halo or Galactica web series.
 
I hope they've gotten Valve's permission or have figured out their funding campaign so that they won't raise any issues. I've been involved with fan films a long while back it it was always tricky trying to raise money to make something using character and other IP that's not your own. Even trickier if you want to sell a final product.

Still, "Enter the Freeman" was so good it would be great to see if Valve can just give them the go ahead. It certainly can't hurt to ask.
