The crew at Legit Reviews have posted coverage of the AMD [H]ardOCP FX GamExperience. I snagged the picture below to whet your appetite, hit the link for all the coverage and more photos of the event.

While waiting in line is never fun, once the doors opened the first person in line found out that he instantly won a processor, video card, power supply, gaming headset, DDR3 memory kit, USB Flash drive and some t-shirts! Not a bad haul for spending a couple hours outside in fairly decent winter weather!

Ah if we only knew... me and my dad were the second people there but were cold so we waited for the line to grow... we actually went in and saw they were still setting up and asked if people needed help lolz.
 
Had an amazing time! BF3 tourney was seriously intense. We got second, losing by only 3 kills. Congrats to the guys on Delta squad for beating us (Charlie squad) in the finals!!
 
Pretty cool nice job to the first guy and shame on you guys for being cold in texas!! As i sit here in winter hell.

well next year i bet some gamers that go to the event will camp a week before hand to get the first in line prizes!
 
Great time and I'm already looking forward to the next event, whenever and wherever that may be. I'm thinking in Dallas again this summer, but we'll see. Great tool for AMD and other sponsors to market their new stuff and keep whetting the appetites of us computer enthusiasts. :cool:

Would it be possible to do this type of GamExerience in other cities? IE: Atlanta (I'm in Birmingham but I know you will never make it here, so I went with the largest city within 2 hours)

The machine I won from Diamond Multimedia has an FX-6100 and not a FX-8150 in it. I am going to have to sign up for a facebook account just to mention it lol. I have the diamond multimedia registration on my phone and it does mention that it is a 6 core. It is still one awesome computer though!

that chick in the green Zelda shirt was needless to say what most would call a attention whore. By the end of the day, she got so annoying that my clan leader was straight up mocking her.
