Dude, where have you been? I have been using these on integrations of white-box & server PCs for over 4 years now at my company. Good effort on the video though... good for those who didn't know! -peez-
How about just the MB?
I have a 2500+ myself already in mine. The board got struck by lightning a week ago, and I need a replacement. Thanks-
Jacksn
btw- what does yours overclock to?
You can say that again. I am still happily banging away on my Asrock as I type this.
This is still the number one upgrade I ever made with PCs.
p.s. Anyone have the upgrade daughter card they wanna sell cheap?

See SIG below (but have been running at 2.94Mhz w/ 1.4v as of late... I like the lower temps)
I have not tried the voltmod to 1.55v yet (waiting on the Arctic Freezer 64 pro to arrive.)
I hope to hit 3100Mhz+ after that. (FYI- CABYE stepping Opteron 148)
The Freezer64 Pro works great!
I have yet to actually hear of any of the exotic solutions not working on this board. The only thing is you need a backplate (not included) for most of them on this motherboard. (Freezer64 you don't)

I was able to reach 11 x 273= 3003Mhz (3Ghz baby!) last night @ 1.45v (Stock cooler)
I'm pretty dam happy right now... I don't think I will do the vmod.
This is good enough! (fingers crossed behind back, thinking of conductive paint & a Zalman 9500LED HSF).
As soon as I went to 11 x 257...

Well... I'm dancin' that jig this afternoon!
I've got the Opteron 148 running @ 11 x 255= 2.82Ghz default volts (1.35) stable.
HTT=600Mhz
Memory=166Mhz divider (volts=high) memory @ 200.03 Mhz
The rest of the CPU settings = AUTO
Fast Writes= Disabled
It was begging me to go higher, so...

I've been running the Opteron @ 2.73Ghz now for 24hours stable at default voltage....
Will be going for 2.8+ in the next 36hours after burn-in.
If I make it above 2.8 at default volts, I'll dance a jig!!
...Will keep ya' posted!
Still running great with this board and the Opteron 148.
I still had the voltage underclocked @ 1.35v lastnight when I took the chip to 2.5Ghz.
Memory running @ 178Mhz 7-2-2-2 1T
It never got above 42c with stock fan while "burning". I ran some loops of 3Dmark2001 and Super pi together for...
That was it! Thank you very much.
It was the seperate "blue" (1 of 2) 4-pin connectors that came with the Powerstream ps.
The 4-pin (combo wire) from the main power connector, was not even "keyed" to fit- so I was lucky with that one since the tag said DO NOT PLUG that one into it!
Thanks...

OK. So I have the OCZ Powerstream 520 power supply.
The 20-pin portion main power cable (20/24 pin combo wire) is connected to the 20-pin connector on the motherboard. The 4-pin is not connected. Are you saying that I need to connect that 4-pin cable to the 4-pin connector (ATX12V1) on the...

Are you sure about that connector?? I don't want to fry anything if it's not supposed to be connected.
Also, shouldnt the board still POST w/ the Opteron, just maybe showing "Unknown CPU" in the descriptor?
HELP PLEASE!!
I made the jump yesterday to the ASRock 939Dual SATA2 w/ a Retail/box Opteron 148 CPU (CABYE stepping) from Monarch computers (there local for me). God forbid I should get it to power-up on the 1st time, right? Well... exactly!
