I feel exactly the same way. How do you know you don't have a virus if you haven't scanned for them...same with spyware/malware. As has been said, not all nasties slow down your machine.

A cracked version is one that has been hacked (pirated). If it is done poorly, the program will operate, but many of the shortcut keys will not. He found that the reason his copy wasn't working properly was that it was such a poorly hacked version.

Only time I've ever seen that is when somebody installs a poorly cracked version. Not accusing you of doing such, just stating my experience.

is your 'My docs' folder in the default location, or have you moved it? I have head of some issues with it being unable to find my docs to create a folder that it wants to create in there if it is not in the default c:\documents and settings\username...

It is not tied by any technical means, but by the license agreement. According to licensing, it should only be installed on the machine it was purchased with.

I agree. There is no way to know that that was even a photo before. It could have been drawn like that.

I highly doubt a tattoo barcode will scan. :rolleyes: Barcodes are not that forgiving, the tolerances, lines, gaps have to be right or they do nothing. Getting a freehand barcode isn't going to give a readable data source.

Honestly, yeah. Think about coporate logos. They are simple and stylish. I think you could run with something like that, incorperate the color scheme...even use it with the flame effect for some eye catching designs.

While the flame effect looks good and all, there is nothing about the design that would make me want to hire the company in question for graphic design work. Nothing in the look, layout, feel of the banner gives the impression that the creator has extensive design knowledge. Sorry if that...

More info needed to answer this fully. A printer driver is always needed. Many are included with OS. Many are not. Sometimes a driver is almost right and it kinda works. In these instances, installing the orrect driver can help. DId it work previously? Have you done any updates?
