Am I reading that right? The solution is to install the once optional blinky light that says "Maybe sensor fault, MCAS will now try to crash the plane. Good luck in the next 18 seconds pilot"
I can understand the cost save of putting the tracker in the HMD as 2 cameras but you would think Microsoft could have bothered to make their standard extensible by adding external camera bases or light houses to augment. But hey they called it mixed reality when it doesn't even do that so.....
So 6 months and it will be half price in the Microsoft store like its failed predecessor? Microsoft just cant encourage them to burn $$$ fast enough on mixed (but not really) reality.
Can you imagine being the IT "lifer" at MySpace and looking for a new job? "I see you've been working at MySpace for the past 15 years"
Probably better to just leave a 15 year resume hole...
"sometimes you might need to hire impulsive inattentive @ssholes" Instead of just using your eyes and ears you can pay us big $$$$ to identify that through a cheesy game.
That would probably be a draw at best and piss off the endpoint/desktop people in the process. I'll just get a $50 to $90 video card.
P.S. even the cheapest Ultrasharp 24 is missing DP out for daisy chain
Looked like a lot of out of stock or only refurbs left at monoprice. Maybe the expectation is if you want that functionality you get a Ultrasharp class monitor with pass-through so there is no longer a market? Doesn't help us in cubes who get the penny pinched "standard" screens. Oh well I'll...
Looking at a MST hub for work since Dell dropped one of the three outputs on the new optiplex (7060)
Conclusion: It's more cost effective to buy a whole extra low profile PCIe video card than it is to get a Displayport MST hub...
This is what you get when the software is coded out of a boiler room offshore and tested on a 6AM to 8AM time zone overlap with the US engineers who haven't even had a coffee and Palash, Ajay, and Rakesh sound like they are on the other end of a black hole thanks to skype on a good day and on a...
Wow that budget production quality. Nearly the level of "dude the factory I work at is closed over the weekend, grab all your sci-fi/horror LARPing gear and meet me there tonight."
After I saw the ship needs sections to spin and flip itself over in a disco light poof while scrubs manually load canisters in the over-sized mushroom drive bay while a pale dude looks like he desperately needs some visine to generate drama... Yeah not for me.
DISCO indeed.
Volvo has no idea how much marketing dollars they will need to burn in the US market to overcome half the population immediately thinking of glitter, feathers, and thongs when they see... Polestar
I'd imagine the more likely scenario is shipping container dispensers staged on cargo ships making port at coastal cities.
(This definitely just got me on a government list.)
I assumed satellite was digital all or nothing. So if you get a crap antenna from GM penny pinching you get some lower grade stream? Or is SiriusXM not digital at all?
"The new material makes Galaxy Fold flexible and tough, built to last" If it bends its also going to scratch. Screens will be scratched or delaminating in months. Lets have a look at once of these used for real after 3 months. Any bets on how good the screen surface will be looking?
I guess it will be another year before someone figures out how to put cameras on the top, bottom, and sides. I need no less than 9 cameras on a $4000 phone that folds into a cootie catcher.
Perfect, going to check if AMEX extended warranty covers b-stock/refurb and keep an eye on them. Do you know if they ever do sales on the b stock items? Being able to have AMEX handle anything in year 2 give a lot more flexibility because they refund your payment in most cases making it a lot...
Hope they have a well structured contract and it's not like USB-C chargers/cables. They blow up your $2000 device... Oh well, you can have a new replacement $40 charger.
Looking for advice on what is the best video card out there right now with a 1 year warranty. (Edit: 1 year or less to help mockingbird)
Wanting this to match with credit card extended warranty to give the most flexibility if a failure pops up between year 1 and 2.
Half billion dollar oopsie. I'm guessing someone has a brand new job of running QC tests on chemicals before just throwing the jug into the machine now...
