I am planning on buying a SATA DiamondMax10 250gb soon, which I might also watercool...
how's that?
Is there anyplace that I can buy stuff like drive cages, mobo trays, etc? I've looked around but can't find 'em... I'm so frustrated because I can't find a full size tower with all the specs that I want, so I'm seriously considering building my own from scratch. I think it will be way more fun...
I've read that the laing pumps are larger than the eheim ones, among others. Is the size going to be an issue in a mid-tower case or am I going to need a full tower?
cool...I was looking at that one but was concerned because I had read that the d4 was powerful but a bit noisy, which I'm trying to avoid. Good to hear that they may have fixed that issue.
decent drive, good price...8mb buffer ATA

ok the 7K500 is a little out of my price range...let's say less than $150...plus I'm running PATA right now, I'm just looking for the performance increase. I don't really need half a terabyte of storage ;)
Are there any hard drives out there that are SATA II with 16mb cache and NCQ? I've read that there are, but I can't find any on newegg or any other sites...

Well I'm in the Marines but unfortunately I'm stationed in Washington, too far away for me :( . Still, it's cool that they do that, and I do know a few Marines at Camp Pendleton that I will pass the message along to.
I just signed up too, but now I almost wish I didn't. Nowhere on the page does it say anything about it being free. Furthermore, the lack of a disclaimer or some other type of legal disclosure makes me pretty nervous.
