I've read in a couple of posts that the 6800U from eVGA should be clocked at 425/1100 from the factory. The card that I got from them is not overclocked, though. It is the standard 400/1100. If you have an eVGA 6800U, please participate in this poll. I want to get to the bottom of this. Thanks.
I have an eVGA 6800U that came clocked at 400/1100. The best I could get out of it is 435/1150. The drivers will let me do 440/1160, but then I get artifacts. Any higher and the drivers reject it. My system consists of an AMD64 3200+, 2 GB of ram, 2 optical drives, 2 hard drives, a sound...
FWIW, I have a 3200+ with a BFG6800NU (16x6, 400/800) and 2 GB of ram and no stuttering. I run at 1680x1050 with mediocre frame rates, but they are consistently mediocre. I have to attribute the non-stuttering to the 2 GB of ram.
